Human
Although not officially a predator, humans still pose a serious threat to zebras because of commerce and diet. Zebras are sought for their meat and hides, and they frequently perish in automobile incidents. The Burchell's zebra, a subspecies of the plains zebra, is thought to have edible meat that is rich in vitamins like iron, zinc, and vitamin B12.
They are additionally threatened by poaching in some regions. Zebras are found over much of Africa, where poaching is a major issue. Humans hunt zebras for their pelts instead of only their meat, which is used to make things like rugs and chair upholstery. They occasionally also market the zebra's bodily parts illegally. The existence of the species is seriously threatened by this unlawful commerce. Zebras' eating grounds are affected because human farming practices result in smaller habitat areas for these herbivores.
