Spotted Hyenas
The hyenas are also the predators of zebras that eat zebras. Despite their reputation as scavengers who happily eat the leftovers of other predators during the day, hyenas do engage in nighttime hunting. These creatures can consume zebra flesh in a matter of minutes and are extremely effective hunters. Hyenas are known to feed on the carcasses of other carnivores, making them a threat to both living and dead zebras.
Zebras are frequently on spotted hyenas' radars and are sought alongside other prey items. In order to dodge the zebra's potent kicks, hyenas often attack zebras from behind. A zebra can be easily captured by a group of 10 to 25 hyenas for consumption. A zebra will typically flee and head for a herd of fellow zebras for safety if it can.
