June Diane Raphael
June Diane Raphael is an actress, comedian, and screenwriter from the United States. She has appeared in the television shows Burning Love, NTSF:SD:SUV::, and Grace and Frankie. Year One and Unfinished Business are among her notable cinematic roles, as is her 2013 Sundance feature Ass Backwards, which she co-wrote and starred in with her creative partner Casey Wilson. Along with Jason Mantzoukas and her husband Paul Scheer, she co-hosts the movie discussion podcast How Did This Get Made?
June started her comedy career as a writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York and Los Angeles. Casey Wilson, whom she met in a clowning class at NYU, became a good companion. In 2005, their collaboration earned them the ECNY Award for 'Best Comedy Duo.' Her acting abilities led to appearances in films such as "Zodiac," "Bride Wars," and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
