K-Days
The Edmonton Exhibition, Klondike Days, and the Capital Ex are all names for an annual 10-day exhibition held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, usually in late July. It has drawn between 700,000 and 800,000 tourists every year in recent years. It is held in conjunction with A Taste of Edmonton and the Edmonton Indy from 2006 to 2012.
The show is housed at the Exhibition Lands adjacent to the Edmonton Expo Centre, and is hosted by Explore Edmonton beginning in 2022 and Northlands until 2019. K-Days starts five days after the Calgary Stampede (before 2009, it started four days after), ending on the last Sunday of July.
This is a ten-day event that takes place every year in Edmonton. This spine-tingling event is jam-packed with music, adventure, and delicious food. The festival began in 1879 and has grown in popularity year after year. The celebration was previously known as Klondike Days, and it has a long cultural history with Edmonton.
Dates: July 22 – July 31
