Kaboud-val Waterfall

In the Golestan province, Kaboud-val Waterfall is situated five kilometers southeast of Aliabad-e Katul. Aliabad-e Katul, which is located in the southern part of Gorgan City, is close to Aqqala (in the north), Gorgan (in the west), Ramian (in the east), and Shahrud (in the south).

One of the notable locations in Golestan province is Kaboud-val Waterfall, the biggest waterfall covered entirely in moss in Iran. It is around six meters tall, and the cool, drinkable water is there. On the northern slope of Kh-e Hrn, a forest park, a stream, and a valley all share the same name. There are eleven kilometers between this mountain's height of 1,780 meters and Kaboud-val. There are dams like Zarrin Gol and Kaboud-val on the route from the forest to the falls.

An eight hundred and fifty meters long, narrow, paved sidewalk runs alongside the road and directs visitors to the base of the waterfall. After about twenty minutes of trekking, this path arrives at the enormous Kaboud-val Waterfall, which is also passed by a few additional waterfalls. A little spring that flows fifty meters from the mountain's summit supplies water to all of these waterfalls. At the base of Kaboud-val Waterfall, a few pools have developed throughout time.
