Margoon Waterfall
Near the city of Sepidan in the Iranian region of Fars is the Margoon Waterfall. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iran. The waterfall is 100 meters wide and 70 meters high. The waterfall is found near the town of Margoon, which is 48 kilometers from Ardakan in the province of Fars. The hilly Margoon region is located at an altitude of more than 2,200 meters above sea level. Wintertime brings chilly weather.
Wintertime brings chilly weather. In extreme cold, the waterfall may finally freeze. Both Margoon and Yasooj are 65 and 48 kilometers away from each other, respectively. You can drive up to a point approximately 800 meters from the waterfall and then walk down a paved path with concrete steps to get there.
