Yakhi Waterfall
Yakhi Waterfall, also known as Abshar Yakhi, is a waterfall in Amol, Iran, close to Mount Damavand's southern slopes. At a height of 5,100 meters, this waterfall is magnificent since it is entirely frozen. It is located close to the Damavand Peak in the Dood Kooh Mountains. The same is 3 meters in diameter and 70 meters tall, and it is constantly growing.
The trickle of water from the glacier melting above it throughout the summer at midday is what causes this rise. This trickle adds to the waterfall by flowing next to it. The same persist for a brief period before freezing. The aforementioned waterfall is unique to the world.
The waterfall freezes over in the winter, making it a good location for winter sports. Ice climbing is best practiced from late autumn to early April for individuals who are interested in this thrilling activity. Here are held the annual Asian International Ice Skating Championships.
