La Marée, Paris
La Marée is the place to go for fish and chips or an exquisite fine-dining experience based on the greatest seafood in Paris. Chef Julien Combes is responsible for La Marée's superb seafood cuisine, which pays respect to the city's early fish markets, where delicious food was not always expensive.
Eating at La Marée is a great experience, with affordable three-course dinners, a modest but well-thought-out wine selection, and a nice cozy environment. Certainly not what you'd expect from one of Paris' greatest restaurants. Mullet carpaccio with sea urchins is a dish to try.
