In 2004, he was voted NBA Rookie of the Year, and he rapidly established himself as one of the league's top players, winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. While playing for the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013, James earned his first two NBA championships. He was also named league MVP and Finals MVP in both of these seasons. In addition, James became the first active player in NBA history to earn $1 billion in earnings. Off the court, James has accumulated more wealth and fame from numerous endorsement contracts.
