May Fight Cancer
In the United States, cancer is the second leading cause of death. Several in vitro investigations have revealed that white tea may have anti-cancer properties. White tea extract induced cell death in numerous forms of lung cancer in one test-tube investigation. Two further test-tube experiments investigated the impact of white tea on colon cancer cells.
The researchers observed that white tea extract inhibited the development and spread of colon cancer cells. White tea extract antioxidants also protected normal cells from damage caused by dangerous chemicals. It's worth mentioning, though, that these test-tube trials employed a lot of white tea. More human research is needed to fully understand the effects of consuming white tea on cancer.
