Meenmutty Waterfalls
Meenmutty Falls is one of the most beautiful in the state. Meenmutty Falls is a waterfall located 45 kilometers (28 miles) from Trivandrum in the Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala, India. The falls are close to the Ponmudi hill station, the Thiruvananthapuram district, and the Agastya Mala Biosphere Reserve. This waterfall can be found in the upper riparian stream of the Vamanapuram River. It is Kerala's second-largest waterfall.
Visitors must travel 2 kilometers through deep woodlands to reach the falls because there is no transportation. Kallar on the Vithura-Ponmudi route is a close roadhead. Other waterfalls nearby include Kombaikani Falls (which is 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) upstream of Meenmutti Falls), Thavakkal Waterfalls, and Vaazhvanthol Waterfalls. There is also a waterfall of the same name in Kerala's Wayanad district.
