Palaruvi Waterfalls

Palaruvi Falls is a waterfall in the Kollam district of Kerala, India. It is India's 40th-highest waterfall and one of its most magnificent. Palaruvi falls from a height of 300 feet (91 meters) and is located near Aryankavu, Kollam district, Kerala, India. The milk-white rush of foam, whose muted roar resounds through the otherwise quiet virgin forest, is set against a beautiful backdrop of mist-clad blue hills and green valleys.


In Malayalam, the word Palaruvi means "milk stream". It is a popular picnic destination for travelers from all around south India. The water falls into a little pool, perfect for swimming. It has captured the attention of many of the guests. To get to the waterfall, you must hike through dense forests, which is an unforgettable experience.
