Palaruvi Waterfalls

Palaruvi Falls is a waterfall in the Kollam district of Kerala, India. It is India's 40th-highest waterfall and one of its most magnificent. Palaruvi falls from a height of 300 feet (91 meters) and is located near Aryankavu, Kollam district, Kerala, India. The milk-white rush of foam, whose muted roar resounds through the otherwise quiet virgin forest, is set against a beautiful backdrop of mist-clad blue hills and green valleys.

In Malayalam, the word Palaruvi means "milk stream". It is a popular picnic destination for travelers from all around south India. The water falls into a little pool, perfect for swimming.
