Mental Health and Resilience for Healthcare Workers

On Coursera, this is one of the Best Online Resilience Courses. This training will assist organizations and individuals in better managing the mental health problems that come with working in the healthcare field. Healthcare organizations such as the University Health Network (UHN) handle their employees' mental health issues through a variety of activities aimed at helping them build resilience and providing relief from the rigors of their jobs. This was especially important during the pandemic, but healthcare personnel faces significant amounts of stress even when there isn't a pandemic.

The main goal of this course was to capture and explain the lessons learnt in order to educate healthcare institutions and staff about effective tactics and why they work. Professor Steve Joordens will describe the psychology driving these treatments, while Dr. Heather Gordon will discuss tactics she has used at the UHN throughout the pandemic.
