Monster

"Monster" is really good at making a dark and suspenseful feeling, and it does this by making the places and the story seem very real. The story happens in Europe, mostly in Germany and the Czech Republic. This makes the anime feel genuine and believable. The old, creepy places, strange hospitals, and dark streets all make you feel uneasy, making it perfect for a mystery and suspenseful story.

The anime is great at making you feel like you're in this spooky world. It uses the surroundings and the way things look and feel to show how the characters are feeling, especially Dr. Kenzou Tenma, the main character. As he tries to solve the mystery in the story, you can really feel his loneliness and confusion because of how the anime shows everything.

"Monster" is famous for how it uses clues and false clues, called red herrings. It gives the audience lots of hints, some obvious and some not, to help them figure out the big mystery: why the bad guy, Johan Liebert, does what he does. But it also tricks the audience with red herrings, things that seem important but really aren't. This keeps the mystery exciting and makes it hard to guess what will happen next.
