National Experimental University of Tachira
The Universidad Experimental del Táchira, usually known as Universidad del Táchira or UNET, is a public university in San Cristóbal, Táchira, Venezuela, that was created on February 27, 1974. The institution now has 8,240 undergraduate and graduate students, as well as 686 professors.
The UNET is a prestigious academic institution for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Committed to the positive development of Tachira state and country, with the goal of increasing and developing the university's and state's social capital in order to boost their popularity and credibility in Venezuela and Latin America. Also, to enhance the university's intellectual capital in order to fulfill its core duties of teaching, extension, and research. As well as the credibility of its staff and students to ensure the quality of its educational services as an academic institution.
The UNET main campus is located on Universidad Paramillo Avenue in San Cristobal, Tachira, Venezuela, and consists of three main buildings denoted by the letters A, B, and C. The university also has various headquarters that serve as normal classrooms for students to attend classes or farms where UNET students conduct field research projects for their agronomy and engineering studies at the main campus or other headquarters. Undergraduate students with a high school certificate who are allocated by the OPSU, a service provided by the Venezuelan government to assign bachelor's degree aspirants to public institutions around the nation, can choose from a variety of occupations. The UNET is well-known for having a vast variety of engineering vocations that have been introduced throughout time as the number of students has increased
