Simon Bolivar University

Simón Bolvar University, or USB, is a scientific and technologically oriented public university having two sections, one in Miranda state and the other in Vargas state. Simón Bolvar University is undoubtedly Venezuela's most prominent scientific and technology institution, as well as one of South America's most important. It is the country's most selective higher education institution, accepting only students who score in the top 95 percentile on a standardized entrance exam.


Simon Bolivar University was founded in 1967 with the primary goal of providing students with high-quality fundamental information in their chosen field while also encouraging young people to acquire tolerance, ethics, and cultural diversity. Because to its achievements, the University of Simon Bolivar is ranked among the top five universities in Venezuela, and among the top 5% of the world's most renowned and well-known educational institutions.


In 1970, the institution launched academic operations in Caracas' Sartenejas Valley, and seven years later in Vargas' Camur Grande Valley. These are the two places that are currently available. Sartenejas headquarters, in Miranda state's Baruta municipality, is its rectory.
