Peacham
Peacham is a picturesque tiny village in Caledonia County, Vermont. Its inhabitants are known as "Peachamites." Yankee Magazine named Peacham the "Best New England Village" in September of 2005. Peacham has a long and illustrious history. Visitors can examine the Peacham Historical Association's substantial collections and archives. Peacham is believed to be Vermont's most photographed town, because to the beautiful show put on by the area's foliage in the fall.
Peacham provides activities and events for its residents and visitors all year. From late May to late September, the weekly Peacham Farmers Market offers fresh local fare. The Peacham Music Festival, Fourth of July Celebration, Fall Foliage Day, and Winter Carnival are all annual events.
There are numerous ways to enjoy Peacham's natural beauty. Residents can enjoy a range of outdoor recreational possibilities throughout the year. Hiking in the Peacham Town Forest and seeing Cow Hill, the town's highest point are both options. Devil's Hill and Peacham Bog are natural regions in Groton State Forest, which is part of Peacham.
The village center, which houses the town offices, post office, and library, is the beating heart of Peacham. Peacham Cafe also serves fresh morning baked products and lunch cuisines. Peacham Corner Guild, a collaboration of local craftspeople, sits right next door to the cafe.
