Penghu Island
Also known as the Pescadores, Penghu Island is an archipelago of more than 60 small islands and the largest offshore island. Research shows that the archipelago is known for its distinctive architecture – with houses built from coral – and numerous temples, most of which was built to worship the goddess of the sea, Mazu.
