Praia Banana

Praia Banana, cited as one of the most famous beaches on Principe, is a pristine stretch of sand that filmed a Bacardi commercial in the 1990s. The beach is accessible through a Principe boat excursion or by 444 down the woodland route on the Belo Monte Estate.

This picture-perfect tropical beach, formerly the subject of a world-famous Bacardi advertising (you'll remember it when you see it), is located on the grounds of Roça Belo Monte, a 15 minutes walk from the front gate. It is initially observed from above, from a clifftop mirador, before descending to sea level, where its golden sands, shaped like a banana, are found beneath swaying palms. A modest bar and lounge chairs have hidden among the trees. There's snorkeling at both ends, great swimming, and kayaks accessible from resort employees. The locals are all extremely friendly and hospitable. Therefore, this beautiful beach will bring visitors many wonderful experiences.
