Seahorse Beach

Seahorse Beach is one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches along the coastal Bluewater Highway, which is a great getaway from Houston. Seahorse Beach is a quiet beachside get-away from the city noise, located just 62 miles and a little over an hour's drive from Houston.

Seahorse Beach is easiest to find from public access point number three, where paved parking is available across the street from the public access boardwalk. On Follett's Island, Seahorse Beach is a small stretch of smooth, sweet sand with beautiful dunes. The peninsula is famed for its peaceful beaches and wildlife, which includes dolphins and birds. There are two restaurants on-site, both offering A La Carte dining, one near the beach that serves mostly to the daily Beach Club visitors and the other in Lagoon Mansion, which is located further up the hill away from the beach.
