In 2014, Spotykach abandoned its retro-Soviet motif in favor of a Ukrainian revolutionary one, with images of Taras Shevchenko and Bohdan Khelmytsky (as well as Che Guevara) replacing Lenin. Spotykach is a vodka-based liquor with a variety of flavors ranging from blackcurrant to horseradish. Its name comes from the Russian word'stumble,' which refers to the effect it may have on the uninformed.
