Stonewall Pride Parade
According to a study, the Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival annually draws 35,000 people and has a direct economic impact of more than $1 million on the City of Wilton Manors. Stonewall Pride commemorates the historic Stonewall Riots, the beginning of the LGBT+ civil rights movement, and the impact these events have had on our neighborhood.
Any campaigning or advertising materials that have not been pre-approved by WMEG by the group in question will not be permitted to be displayed. Any sign or banner that is thought to be inappropriate may be taken down by parade managers on the spot. Vehicles and groups will be removed from the procession if they don't comply.
Here, the word "animals" refers to huge animals like horses, elephants, and other creatures, not to domestic pets like cats or dogs. Those who intend to bring animals with them must make advance agreements with WMEG. You are responsible for picking up after your animals at the parade assembly area and along the parade route in accordance with local regulations.
