Telegram

Telegram is a cross-platform, cloud-based instant messaging (IM) service that is available for free. End-to-end encrypted video calling, VoIP, file sharing, and a variety of other features are also available. It was released for iOS on August 14, 2013, and for Android in October 2013. Telegram's servers are distributed globally to reduce frequent data load, with five data centers in various regions, while the operational center is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Client apps for desktop and mobile platforms are available, including official apps for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux (although registration requires an iOS or Android device and a working phone number). There are two official Telegram web twin apps, WebK and WebZ, as well as a slew of unofficial clients that use Telegram's protocol. Except for the server, which is closed-sourced and proprietary, all of Telegram's official components are open source.

Telegram is a messaging app that focuses on security and speed, allowing you to create group chats with up to 5000 users or even more and stay in touch with everyone, whereas WhatsApp has a member limit of 250. Telegram also includes features such as end-to-end encrypted video calling, file sharing, VoIP, and others. Telegram allows you to send photos and videos up to 1 GB in size.
