Teyzit (Tizit) Beach

Teyzit is the farthest of the famed beaches from Dawei town, and it is the beach to visit if you want a fully crowd-free beach day. A few visitors to Maungmagan decide to take a day trip to Teyzit.

It is a beautiful and isolated beach where you can see fishermen in their boats and young local children playing in the sea, a sight to behold! Furthermore, the abundance of boulders and foliage makes this a gorgeous location where you can spend some quiet time with your sweetheart in front of a picturesque backdrop.

You can cycle or stroll to Launglon village, which will also serve as your entry point, to sample some local cuisine. The amenities are poor, and there are only a few shops, so plan your vacation carefully.

How to get there: Fly from Yangon or Mandalay to Dawei. Alternatively, you can take the bus. Then take a tuk-tuk or a motorbike to Teyzit beach, passing through Launglon.
