The City of Ember by Dallas Middaugh
The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau is one of the finest graphic novels since it is about a doomed city, and everyone enjoys a good adventure. This book was originally intended to be a novel, but it was changed to be a graphic novel in order to bring the gripping story to life through a succession of well-done drawings that enhance it even more. This is a novel that you will like.
The City of Ember tells the story of two children who have spent the most of their lives in darkness. Lina is one of the children, and she lives her life with hope, thinking that there is something more than the city in which she lives. Doon is a more practical choice. If given the chance, he feels he can solve the blackout problems. Eventually, the two form a team and discover that there is much more going on. This dystopian narrative is great because it conveys a positive message.
This is a fantastic story that will leave you wanting more. The book's chapter edition is fantastic, but the visual edition brings it to life. The only disadvantage is that it leaves you with unanswered questions. Overall, The City of Ember is a fantastic novel that will capture your imagination and take you on an incredible journey.
