The Good, the Bad, the Weird is a 2008 South Korean Western action film directed by Kim Jee-woon and starring Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, and Jung Woo-sung. The film is based on the Italian Spaghetti Western The Good, the Bad, and The Ugly from 1966. The film premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and was released in the United States on April 23, 2010. It received positive reviews from critics, who praised the action, cinematography, and direction.
