Tiger Zinda Hai
Tiger Zinda Hai is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and co-written by Ali Abbas Zafar and Neelesh Misra. It is the second installment in the Tiger franchise and the second installment in the YRF Spy Universe, and it is a sequel to the 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif appear in the flick. Tiger (Khan) and Zoya (Kaif) are forced to come out of hiding in Tiger Zinda Hai to save a group of captives held by a hardline terrorist organization in Iraq.
Pre-production on the film began in 2016 and filming wrapped in 2017, with locations including Abu Dhabi, Austria, Greece, and Morocco. Sajjad Delafrooz, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Nawab Shah, Ivan Rodrigues, Girish Karnad, and Paresh Rawal also appear in Tiger Zinda Hai. It is one of the most costly Hindi films and one of the most expensive Indian movies ever filmed, with a budget of $39.31 million.
Tiger Zinda Hai garnered generally excellent reviews upon its initial release, with praise for its action sequences, narrative, cast performances, and director, but criticism for its length and dialogue. The film grossed more than $88.32 million, making it the eighth highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It received Best Action at the 63rd Filmfare Awards.
