Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the home ground of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in north London, replacing the club's previous stadium, White Hart Lane. With a capacity of 62,850, it is the third largest football stadium in the UK and the largest club stadium in London. It was designed to be a multi-purpose stadium and features the world's first subdivision, retractable soccer field, revealing a synthetic turf field underneath for the NFL London Games, the concerts and other events. Therefore, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is ranked 8th in the most expensive stadiums.

Construction of the stadium was initiated as the focus of the Northumberland Development Project, which aims to be the catalyst for Tottenham's 20-year revitalization plan. The project includes the site of the now demolished White Hart Lane and the areas adjacent to it. The project was first conceived in 2007 and announced in 2008, but the plan has been revised several times, and construction of the stadium, beset by disputes and delays, has did not start until 2015. The stadium then opened on 3 April 2019 with a ceremony before the first Premier League game being held at the stadium.

The name "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" is temporary, the purpose is to sell the naming rights, so that it is named after a sponsor, but as of May 2022 it has not been renamed. This stadium is sometimes referred to as the new White Hart Lane by fans and some media
