Universidad Tecnológica del Peru
The Universidad Tecnológica del Peru (acronym: UTP) is a private university founded on September 8, 1997. It has 5 branches in the city of Lima, located in the districts of Ate, Los Olivos, Lima Centro, San Juan de Lurigancho and Villa El Salvador. At the national level, it has subsidiaries in Nuevo Chimbote, Arequipa, Chiclayo, Huancayo, Ica, Piura and Trujillo.
UTP has 63 undergraduate and postgraduate study programs. 52% of its 71,878 students are enrolled in programs in the engineering field, and 29% in Business and Administration programs.
The UTP has a university campus in downtown Lima and four offices in the districts of Los Olivos, San Juan de Lurigancho, Villa El Salvador and Ate. In the provinces, it has a presence in the cities of Arequipa (2 branches), Chiclayo and Trujillo, and has four new branches under construction in the cities of Huancayo, Nuevo Chimbote, Piura and Ica.
