University for International Cooperation

The University for International Cooperation (UCI) was founded in Costa Rica in 1994 in response to the need for professionals with inter and multidisciplinary training in the Latin American and Caribbean region to effectively face the multifaceted challenges and dilemmas of the modern world, based on the concepts of sustainability, regeneration, conservation, and globalization.

Since before the movement became a massive phenomenon, the University of California at Irvine has implemented and supported virtual and blended learning techniques. "Many nations, one institution." The numerous faces that make UCI a contemporary center of study with a worldwide reach include more than 3,500 graduates from 54 countries on five continents.

UCI's contribution to the future of education is competency-based education, ICT as a tool for training, dynamic learning spaces, international degree modalities, renowned professors who are experts in their fields, and innovative class formats aligned with the demands of the current educational paradigm.
