Yogi Bear
Yogi Bear is a 2010 American comedy film directed by Eric Brevig and written for the screen by Brad Copeland, Joshua Sternin, and Jeffrey Ventimiglia. Based on William Hanna and Joseph Barbera's 1961 animated television series The Yogi Bear Show and the character of the same name. Yogi Bear and his sidekick Boo-Boo Bear struggle to save their home, Jellystone Park, from being logged in the film. The film's production began in October 2008.
Yogi Bear had its world premiere at Westwood on December 11 and was distributed in theaters on December 17 in the United States by Warner Bros. Although the film received mostly negative reviews from reviewers and audiences, who criticized the narrative, comedy, and lack of creativity, the visual effects, voice performances, and fidelity to the source material were applauded.
