Imagine the most idyllic paradise cove, with sandy coastlines lapped by sparkling water, and you'll have a good idea of the stunning magnificence of Pilón de Azúcar. This is a genuinely unique beach, located where the Guajira Desert falls into the warmth of the Caribbean Sea.
Swirls of burnt orange and red sand blend into the sea's vivid azure, creating a vibrant contrast. Spend your time here swimming in the calm sea, soaking in the rays of the sun, and exploring the rocky coastline of Pilón de Azúcar. Make sure you arrive early so you may spend the entire day in paradise. Then, for a truly breathtaking spectacle, wait until the sun sets and the land and sky blaze orange as the spectrum of colors is mirrored across the sea.
The looming Pilón de Azúcar rises above the eponymous beach and offers the most telescopic view of Alta Guajira, with the Serrana del Carpintero mountain range in the distance. As the patron saint of Cabo, a statue of La Virgen de Fátima, constructed here in 1938 by Spanish pearl hunters, stands at the top of the overlook.

Playa Blanca is one of Colombia's top beaches, with gleaming white sand and crystal-clear waters. The beach is located on Isla Baru, a peninsula that is only accessible by boat, about southwest of the historic city of Cartagena.
Playa Blanca's main appeal is its white-sand beaches, which may be visited on a day trip from neighboring Fuerteventura, along with other island attractions such as Montaas del Fuego (Fire Mountains), Ruta de los Volcanes (Volcano Route), and the vineyard Bodega La Geria.
Playa Blanca is rightly popular with vacationers looking to relax on a beautiful beach for a few days. As a result, there are a few locations to rent sun loungers and a small restaurant providing light fare. Playa Blanca is part of Utria National Park, and between July and October, humpback whales can be seen migrating along the Pacific coast.
Playa Blanca is a picturesque village with white buildings that contrast brilliantly against the reds and browns of the volcanoes and the deep blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Guachalito Beach is located in the woods, west of Choco, adjacent to the small fishing hamlet of Nuki. Guachalito is a beach that attracts visitors who wish to get away from the crowds who flock to Colombia.
Guachalito Beach is without a doubt one of Colombia's most stunning beaches. The beach is surrounded by overflowing virgin jungle, where incredible wildlife roams freely and waterfalls pour over massive drops and are part of what is possibly one of the most outrageously striking natural environments in the country.
This location provides guests with the opportunity to spend time in a rural section of Colombia. The black sand on the beach contributes to the spectacular splendor of Guachalito, and if you're lucky, you might see whales and dolphins as they pass by this portion of the coastline.
If you want to stay somewhere with eco-friendly credentials, there is an eco-lodge along the beach that may provide a one-of-a-kind stay in the gorgeous setting of Guachalito Beach.

This is the kind of place that comes to mind when you think of paradise. Johnny Cay is a must-see beach in Colombia, with its palm trees, white sand, and calm surf. This little island is located in the San Andrés and Providencia archipelago, right opposite San Andres Town, and is accessible by a short boat journey from the mainland.
Johnny Cay is actually part of a regional park, and there is a modest cost to enter, but once there, you are free to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The fine white sand and the warmth of the clear waters have a refreshing effect, and even though it might become a little crowded here during peak season, you can always find a spot for yourself.
Rent a sun lounger for the day and enjoy freshly prepared cuisine prepared by one of the island's chefs. The Johnny Cay island is so small that it just takes about half an hour to round it. El Cabo San Juan has a café and a campsite with hammocks and cabins in a stunning overlook on a rock amid the beach. It's possible to spend a very atmospheric night here. Swimming is also doable most of the time, but don't go too deep.

Sapzurro, on the other hand, is extremely spectacular, with beautiful beaches, excellent seafood, world-class diving, and lovely jungle hiking.

El Rodadero on Colombia's Caribbean Coast is a hotspot for sand, sun, and surf. Diverse activities such as sailing and paddle boating are available. This beach is more lively and energetic than its neighboring competition, Playa Blanca. El Rodadero has a more Colombian vibe and fewer international guests. The beach gained popularity in the 1950s. It is now one of the most popular locations on Colombia's northern coast.
Relax on the lovely white sand of the beach. Swim in the clear turquoise water of the ocean. Try snorkeling with your gear or renting a mask on the beach. Rent a sailboat from one of the beach vendors. You can also try scuba diving with one of the businesses in El Rodadero.
When you grow hungry, haggle with vendors over local delicacies like mango strips or alcoholic cocktails in coconut shells. At night, stay on the beach to enjoy a festive atmosphere with live music and artists. Restaurants, restaurants, and businesses remain open long after the sun has set. The atmosphere is lighthearted and welcoming, with traditional Vallenato music playing. Enjoy this accordion-based Caribbean coast genre. A 300-meter stretch of delightfully pure beach is inside a lovely inlet on the remote Caribbean island of Providencia's southeast coast. Playa Manzanillo is the kind of beach that takes your breath away from first sight. It's not the easiest place to get to (it's closer to Nicaragua than Colombia), but your efforts will be rewarded with the first sight of the dazzlingly turquoise waves.
The air here has a very calm Caribbean vibe about it. Grab a refreshing cocktail from the beach's solebar and sip it to the accompanying rhythm of reggae music. The tiny bar heats up in the evening and becomes one of the greatest spots to enjoy the tropical surroundings.
This isn't a beach for high-octane activities or watersports, but rather for relaxing under the shade of a palm tree while the warm waves lap at your feet.
