This workbook is conveniently organized into seven chapters, allowing students to concentrate on a single algebraic procedure at a time. Solving linear equations with a single unknown (with a distinct chapter devoted to fractional coefficients), factoring quadratic equations, utilizing the quadratic formula, cross multiplying, and solving systems of linear equations are among the skills covered.

This workbook is not designed to be a full refresher of algebra; rather, it focuses on the most important algebra abilities. An introduction explains how parents and teachers may assist children in getting the most out of this workbook. Each page is timed and scored by the students. They can strive to have fun improving their records in this way, which can help kids gain confidence in their arithmetic skills.

PRACTICE: Because there are no visuals in this workbook, it focuses solely on learning the subject and improving fluency via practice.

EXAMPLES: Each section starts with a few pages of instructions for solving the equations, followed by a few examples. These examples should be used as a guide until students are able to answer the problems on their own.

ANSWERS: At the back of the book, answers to all of the exercises are tabulated. This builds confidence in trainees and ensures that they practice precise procedures rather than making mistakes. All answers in the revised edition have been independently validated by a computer and an international math expert.

PHOTOCOPIES: The copyright notice allows parents/teachers to make photocopies for their own children/students only if they purchase one copy or borrow one copy from a library. This is extremely useful if you have numerous children/students or if a child/student requires more practice.

NOTE: The solution key is written in regular English. Reduced fractions are expressed, denominators are rationalized, and perfect squares are factored out of square roots. For example, if you get a 1 over root 8 answer, the answer key will display root 2 over 4; both solutions are the same, but the answer key utilizes standard form.
