BTS was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013. They did not come from one of the big three K-pop entertainment companies, but rather from Big Hit Entertainment, a relatively unknown K-pop entertainment company at the time. Many people are unaware that BTS debuted in 2013 and has worked tirelessly for many years to get to where they are now. They were the first K-pop group to present an award at the Grammys, perform live on Saturday Night Live, and attend the Billboard Music Awards. Many of their K-pop music videos are among the most popular on YouTube.
They are now unquestionably the most popular K-pop boy group in the world. BTS has already sold out stadiums around the world, including London's Wembley Stadium. In addition, they have worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Halsey, Charli XCX, and Steve Aoki. Many of their videos are extremely well produced and rank among the top K-pop videos of all time.

They are regarded as the first kings of K-pop boy groups. Big Bang began in 2006 under YG Entertainment. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence. They've won a slew of awards and helped put K-pop on the map around the world. They have sold over 150 million records worldwide and are Asia's best-selling group of all time. They were also the first Korean artists to be included on the Forbes Celebrity 100 (2016) and 30 Under 30 list of most influential musicians in the world (2017).
What makes them truly unique is that some of the members have gone on to have successful solo careers. G-Dragon, the most famous Big Bang member, has become a style/fashion icon and has released numerous solo albums, including Heartbreaker. Not all of the members have achieved success, as one of them, Seungri, was involved in a scandal stemming from the Burning Sun Incident.

EXO is one of the most successful K-pop boy groups of all time. They are frequently compared to BTS, but their music is very different. EXO was created by SM Entertainment and features less global/western sounds and more Asian-oriented sounds. As a result, many of their songs are not rap-heavy, giving them a lot of creative freedom when writing songs. EXO also has some of the best dance choreography in the industry. All of the EXO members have become extremely wealthy and successful.
Early in 2012, EXO's first two singles were released. Their next single, MAMA, was released in both Korean and Chinese, and it quickly went viral in both countries. This was followed in 2013 by XOXO, their first full-length album, and the rest, as they say, is history in K-pop. From 2014 to 2018, the band was ranked as one of the top five most influential celebrities on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list and has been dubbed the "Kings of K-pop" and the "Biggest boyband in the world" by various media outlets.

They rose to prominence with their song Sorry, Sorry. The group is well-known not only for its great visual music videos but also for its personality. Many of the members are active on social media, where they can display their goofy side.

Monsta X is a South Korean boy band formed through Starship Entertainment's reality survival show No.Mercy. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, and Hyungwon are the current members of the group. Monsta X has been known for their aggressive style, which combines elements of hip hop, EDM, and pop. This aggressive style has influenced the fourth generation of K-pop, with "tracks centered around loud, clattering, electronic instrumentals, vicious rap verses, and striking vocals".
While they are known for their intense style, their albums are often "a mix of intense songs and softer ballads". According to Michael Cerio of Radio.com, their EP Follow: Find You is "a balance of ballads and bangers". Billboard's Tamar Herman described their album All About Luv as a departure from the boisterous "dance-oriented album" they typically release in the South Korean music market, instead of focusing on "an overwhelming sense of sentimentality and smoothness". The album was also credited with demonstrating that "K-pop transcends language barriers".Detailed information:
