EXO

EXO is one of the most successful K-pop boy groups of all time. They are frequently compared to BTS, but their music is very different. EXO was created by SM Entertainment and features less global/western sounds and more Asian-oriented sounds. As a result, many of their songs are not rap-heavy, giving them a lot of creative freedom when writing songs. EXO also has some of the best dance choreography in the industry. All of the EXO members have become extremely wealthy and successful.

Early in 2012, EXO's first two singles were released. Their next single, MAMA, was released in both Korean and Chinese, and it quickly went viral in both countries. This was followed in 2013 by XOXO, their first full-length album, and the rest, as they say, is history in K-pop. From 2014 to 2018, the band was ranked as one of the top five most influential celebrities on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list and has been dubbed the "Kings of K-pop" and the "Biggest boyband in the world" by various media outlets.
