Super Junior

Super Junior debuted around the same time as Big Bang. They debuted as a 13-member group under SM Entertainment! SM chose the members based on their previous work as MCs, models, actors, and radio hosts. This explains why many of the members have achieved success in fields other than Super Junior, such as business and acting.

They rose to prominence with their song Sorry, Sorry. The group is well-known not only for its great visual music videos but also for its personality. Many of the members are active on social media, where they can display their goofy side.

For four years in a row, Super Junior was the best-selling K-pop artist. The group has received thirteen Mnet Asian Music Awards, nineteen Golden Disc Awards, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards, following jtL in 2003.
