SHINee
SHINee first appeared in K-pop in 2008. They are a five-piece band known not only for their music but also for their fashion and fitness. Their highly synchronized and complex dance choreography made them popular among Kpop fans. The members were known for their impressive array of muscles and six-pack abs, which accentuated their dances. However, in 2010, their image shifted to a more mature and grown-up appearance.
SHINee has a massive fan base throughout Asia, particularly in Japan. They were the first non-Japanese group to have three singles charts at the top of the Oricon weekly singles chart. The group was also a huge success in Korea. They were named honorary ambassadors of Seoul's Gangnam District.
