Big Bang

They are regarded as the first kings of K-pop boy groups. Big Bang began in 2006 under YG Entertainment. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence. They've won a slew of awards and helped put K-pop on the map around the world. They have sold over 150 million records worldwide and are Asia's best-selling group of all time. They were also the first Korean artists to be included on the Forbes Celebrity 100 (2016) and 30 Under 30 list of most influential musicians in the world (2017).

What makes them truly unique is that some of the members have gone on to have successful solo careers. G-Dragon, the most famous Big Bang member, has become a style/fashion icon and has released numerous solo albums, including Heartbreaker. Not all of the members have achieved success, as one of them, Seungri, was involved in a scandal stemming from the Burning Sun Incident.
