2PM
2PM is popular not only in South Korea but also in Japan. JYP Entertainment launched the group, which made its debut in Japan in 2011 to great acclaim. Over the course of five years, 2PM toured throughout Japan, where they developed a devoted fan base.
2PM also received many awards during action time, such as the Artist of the Year award at the 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Disk Bonsang Award at the 2009 Golden Disc Awards, Most Influential Stars at the 2010 Mnet 20's Choice Awards, etc.
They are known for their old-school sound, and in comparison to most K-pop boy groups, 2PM has opted for a more grown-up look. Following the tour for Gentlemen's Game, the band went on indefinite hiatus in July 2017 due to military service. Following the discharge of the members, 2PM released their seventh studio album Must in June 2021.
