  1. Anse Source d'Argent, a beach on the island of La Digue, is one of the most well-known attractions in Seychelles. Because of its towering granite boulders and tranquil, crystal clear waves, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

During your stay, take some breathtaking photos, relax on the soft sand beach, go for a swim, or go snorkeling. Anse Source d'Argent's shallow, tranquil waters make it a safe and peaceful area for kids and inexperienced swimmers to explore. After a morning in the sun, treat yourself to a fresh smoothie from one of the two stands along the beach, as well as a nice lunch from a neighboring restaurant.

The Union Estate costs 115 Rupees per person per day for admission to Anse Source d'Argent, but the outcome is well worth the fee. Aside from the initial entrance fee, getting to the beach is simple thanks to a variety of well-marked trails.

  2. Beau Vallon is one of the most popular beaches in Seychelles and without a doubt the most well-known and active on Mahé, the main island. It's a lovely, long beach bordered with lush greenery that provides plenty of natural shade.

Beau Vallon's white sand beaches are suitable for relaxing, and its waters are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or scuba diving, and the large bay allows you to try out some surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, or jet skiing without disturbing others. A promenade with food and souvenir stands borders parts of the beach, and there are numerous hotels, pubs, and restaurants in the nearby neighborhood.

A lifeguard is usually on duty, which adds to the beach's safe, friendly ambiance and demonstrates how busy Beau Vallon can be. This busy beach is popular with both locals and visitors who come to enjoy a relaxed day at the beach or to watch the sunset. On Wednesday afternoons, don't miss the vibrant local market near the beach!

  3. The beaches at Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Cocos are three of the best on the island of La Digue. They are linked by a trail that winds through the lush tropical forest. The beaches' startling blue seas and forceful surf are framed by majestic granite structures. Don't miss out on the untamed beauty and atmosphere of these wild bays!

Since there is no offshore coral reef here, Grand Anse is not protected from the open ocean, as is the case with many beaches in the island's southern parts. This means that the water can be turbulent, especially during the southeast trade winds, and the currents can carry you out to sea.

Swimming is not safe at Petite Anse, as it is at Grand Anse, and signposts will advise visitors of this. If you do decide to go into the water, make sure you don't go too far out and always have someone watching you. Both Petite Anse and Grand Anse are more suited to beach activities such as sunbathing and picnicking.

Anse Cocos is located east of La Digue, right up the coast from Petite Anse. With golden sand, shallow natural pool water, and shade provided by palm trees, you might easily spend an afternoon here sunbathing on the beach and paddling in the water.

  4. The Vallée de Mai, often known as the Garden of Eden, is a protected natural park and UNESCO World Heritage site on the island of Praslin. The old palm forest in this park has remained essentially intact since prehistoric times, hence the Garden of Eden moniker.

Hiking trails of varied difficulties wind their way through the Vallée de Mai. You'll witness numerous unusual birds, animals, and native plant kinds along the way, including the famous Coco de Mer palm, which produces the world's largest nut. A visit to this virgin forest transports you back in time to prehistoric days when nature reigned supreme!

If you want to snap images but don't have a good camera, use flash to capture your pictures. It becomes light again at the summit of the Glacis Noire, and you may enjoy a spectacular 360° view from here. A modest café near the park's entrance invites you to take a break, and there are gift shops as well.

  5. Anse Lazio, another world-renowned beach, is Praslin's most well-known beach. Many people are taken aback when they see Anse Lazio for the first time. Its blue waters and fine white sand sprinkled with granite rocks make for a stunning view, and its palm trees provide fantastic shade in which to absorb it all in.

There is a dedicated swimming area encircled by a net to discourage fish and other wildlife from bothering swimmers, and there is usually a lifeguard on duty to ensure tourists feel secure in the water. Bring your snorkeling gear if you want to explore Anse Lazio's vast underwater ecosystem.

At each end of the beach, there are a few small stores and restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. Some locals may even assist you in selecting fresh coconuts to savor on the beach!

You can visit Anse Lazio at any time of day, but don't miss the spectacular sunset. A nearby bar and restaurant make it easy to spend the day here! Anse Lazio can be reached by vehicle, bus, or boat.

  6. Anse Intendance is a beautiful, wild beach in the south of Mahé. The beach at the island's southern edge is recognized for its tropical, raw beauty. Anse Intendance is a very long beach with powdery smooth sand and gorgeous seas in vibrant green and blue. These waves are agitated by high winds, adding to the beach's wild appeal.

A word of caution: the sea may get rather turbulent, and you should only swim if the conditions are safe. Locals frequently enjoy surfing in the bay since the conditions are ideal for surfboards and bodyboards. Aside from that, Anse Intendance is always ideal for sunbathing, and the numerous palm trees provide shade from the sun when you need it.

The Banyan Tree Resort is about the only thing in the entire harbor, with no other guesthouses or eateries around. However, there is a little beach bar that serves a few food and cool drinks to keep you going while you relax on the beach.

  7. Anse Takamaka is a lovely beach in Mahé's southwest. Thanks to the leafy trees, a gradually sloping seabed ideal for swimming and playing, and a magnificent restaurant at the end of the beach, this is the ideal place to spend a relaxed day by the sea. The surrounding area consists of granite boulders, golden beaches, and green hills typical of Seychelles.

Because of its crystal-clear water and abundance of marine life, Anse Takamaka is ideally suited to snorkeling. Visitors should bring their flippers and mask, as there is no equipment rental available on-site. The beach is also suitable for swimming, and the water is shallow enough that toddlers and inexperienced swimmers can enjoy a swim without fear. Away from the shore, a prominent Creole restaurant, Chez Batista, is immediately next to the beach, as is a big turtle enclosure.

This is a fantastic spot to see the sunset over the ocean! Anse Takamaka is close to the similarly lovely Anse Intendance, and we recommend visiting both on the same day.

  8. Anse Georgette on Praslin is regarded as one of the world's most stunning beaches! The startling blue ocean and breathtaking environment of this beach mesmerize visitors and give the shore a desert island feel. Waves can be extremely strong during certain seasons of the year, so use caution when entering the water.

Anse Georgette, on the other hand, offers lovely water for bathing or snorkeling. Guests of the resort can hire snorkeling equipment from the hotel to fully appreciate Seychelles' spectacular underwater environment. Finally, the beach is perfect for photographers, with the view from the top of the hill acting as a true highlight of any Seychelles vacation.

Before traveling to Anse Georgette, make contact with the Constance Lemuria Resort. To get to the beach, you must first cross the resort's golf course. There are some ups and downs on the path, and it takes around 20-30 minutes to reach the shore. You can also take a boat or, for the very daring, embark on a lengthy, tough climb from Anse Lazio.

  9. Curieuse is a little island off the coast of Praslin with an astonishing main feature – 300 gigantic turtles wandering freely! Along a trail through the island, encounter turtles, watch unique birds and other creatures and admire the lovely environment of the island, including mangroves and the famous Coco de Mer trees. Make a stop at one of the island's beaches, which are regarded as some of the most beautiful in Seychelles.

Curieuse does not have any hotels, however, it is possible to visit for the day. The best way to travel to Curieuse Island from Praslin is to take one of the many island hopping and snorkeling tours that depart from Praslin regularly. The majority of these excursions will also include a stop at neighboring St Pierre Islet, which is a must-see when visiting Seychelles. An excursion to Curieuse normally lasts 4-5 hours and includes a BBQ.

  10. Anse Severe is a popular beach on La Digue with a lovely tropical setting. It's a great place for visitors to hang out because it's easy to get to by bike, has plenty of shade, and has various kiosks serving drinks, smoothies, and juices.

Anse Severe's dazzling white beach and an underwater world rich in fish and corals make it one of the top snorkeling places on La Digue. If you wish to swim or snorkel, go to the beach at high tide; at low tide, the sea nearly disappears. As previously stated, the water is shallow and protected from the open ocean by rock and coral formations. The drop-off point lies on the other side of this barrier, making the beach suitable for children.

Another great time to visit Anse Severe is around sunset when the sky is stained with a thousand colors of pink, red, and orange.
