Anse Lazio (Praslin)
Anse Lazio, another world-renowned beach, is Praslin's most well-known beach. Many people are taken aback when they see Anse Lazio for the first time. Its blue waters and fine white sand sprinkled with granite rocks make for a stunning view, and its palm trees provide fantastic shade in which to absorb it all in.
There is a dedicated swimming area encircled by a net to discourage fish and other wildlife from bothering swimmers, and there is usually a lifeguard on duty to ensure tourists feel secure in the water. Bring your snorkeling gear if you want to explore Anse Lazio's vast underwater ecosystem.
At each end of the beach, there are a few small stores and restaurants where you can have lunch or dinner. Some locals may even assist you in selecting fresh coconuts to savor on the beach!
