The largest and fourth-deepest lake in the southern Polish Tatra Mountains is called Morskie Oko, which translates to "Eye of the Sea" in English. Jamno is a lake near the Baltic Sea in northern Poland's West Pomeranian Voivodeship. On a spit that separates it from the sea are the resorts of Mielno and Uniecie. With a maximum length of 10.1 kilometers (6.3 mi) and a maximum breadth of 3.4 kilometers, Jamno has a total area of more than 22 square kilometers (8.5 sq mi) (2.1 mi). Goplo is a lake located close to the city of Gniezno in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of north-central Poland. It lends the protected area known as Goplo Landscape Park its name.

Orzysz is a lake located in the Masurian Lake District, in the Land of the Great Masurian Lakes, in Pisz County, in the urban-rural Gmina Orzysz. The town of Orzysz is located on the southwestern shore of the lake.

A ribbon lake, it has a surface area of 1070.7 acres, is 117 meters above sea level, has a range of depths, and its southwestern and northeastern borders are forested. The shore's uneven shape is highlighted by the numerous bays that line its shoreline and the long, narrow peninsulas that bisect the lake. There is a long harbor in the lake's southernmost region that divides the neighboring Wierzbiskie Lake from the twisting Ameryka (America) Peninsula (70 ha).

The lake's major features are its variable depth and abundance of plant species; on its banks, there are woods made up of various kinds of spruce and pine trees.
