111 West 57 St
111 West 57th Street, also known as Steinway Tower, is a high-rise residential skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York. Designed by JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group, the property is located along Billionaires' Row, north of 57th Street, just off Sixth Avenue. The skyscraper's body is a 1,428 ft (435 m) 84-story tower designed by SHoP Architects and completed in 2021. At the foot of the skyscraper, there is the 16th-floor Steinway Building (also Steinway Hall), a former Steinway & Sons store designed by Warren. Completed in 1925, Wetmore's original address was 111 West 57th Street.
At 111 West 57th Street, there are 60 luxury condominiums, including 14 in Steinway Hall and 46 in the tower. The residential tower has a glass facade with terracotta columns. At the top there is an obstacle to the south. The tower is one of the tallest buildings in the United States and the world's thinnest skyscraper, with a width-to-height ratio of approximately 1:24. A New York City landmark, Steinway Hall has a facade made primarily of brick, limestone and terracotta. 111 West 57th Street has a number of amenities for its residents, most of which are located on the floor of the building and include the large rotunda of Steinway Hall, which is also a landmark of the city.
