One World Trade Center
One World Trade Center is the tallest building in the United States. One World Trade Center is a super tall skyscraper in New York City, previously known as Freedom Tower. The tower was once called the Tower of Liberty because the left spire of the previous design resembled the raised arm of the Statue of Liberty. Now this name has been abandoned and changed to One World Trade Center.
In terms of roof height and building height, it just ranks third after Willis Tower and Park Avenue 432.
Though the number of skyscraper projects in New York is expected to increase, at this time 1,776 feet tower will be the tallest for quite some time, as there are no proposals for a taller building yet.
Since One World Trade Center opened its observatory in 2015, there are only three observatories based in New York City.
