Bank of America Tower

Bank of America Tower, also known as Bryant Park 1, is a 55-story skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. 1111 Avenue of the Americas, between 42nd and 43rd Streets, across the street from Bryant Park. The building was designed by Cookfox and Adamson Associates and designed by the Durst Organization of Bank of America. At 1,200 feet (370 m) tall, the Bank of America Tower will be the 8th tallest building in New York City and the 10th tallest building in the United States as of 2021.


Bank of America Tower has 2.1 million square feet (200,000 m2) of office space, most of which is occupied by Bank of America. The building consists of seven-story columns occupying the entire site, with towers rising above it. The facade is mainly composed of glass curtain wall. At the foot of the building, there are New York City landmarks, including the Stephen Sondheim Theater, several shopping plazas and a pedestrian atrium. Bank of America Tower received Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Green Buildings (LEED). However, due to its high energy consumption, the building received a "C" rating in the city's overall energy efficiency rating system.
