432 Park Avenue is a sky-high residential building located on 57th Street and Park Avenue in downtown Manhattan, New York overlooking Central Park. The 1,396 ft (425.5 m) tower was designed by CIM Group and Harry B. Macklowe and designed by Raphael Vignoli. By roof height 432 Park Ave is the second tallest completed building in New York City, it is also the tallest residential building and the second-thinnest skyscraper building in the world.
432 Park Avenue consists of 85 floors (mezzanine and 84 floors) above the ground. The outer tower is a lattice made by pouring concrete made of white Portland cement. The tower is divided into 12 storey blocks separated by two storey mechanical spaces open to allow gusts of wind to pass through the building. It has 125 condominiums and amenities such as a restaurant for residents only. The skyscraper received mixed reviews from both experts and the public for its slimness and symbolism as a residence for the super-rich.
