Students are motivated by the school to pursue lifelong learning and make meaningful contributions to a diverse and evolving world.
The American International School in Egypt aims to provide students with a demanding and multicultural education that prepares them for college both domestically and abroad. Under the guidance of a dedicated, skilled, and knowledgeable group of educators, it aims to enable our kids to develop into critical, self-reliant thinkers who can engage successfully and dynamically in a world that is changing all the time.
The American International School in Egypt has created curricula for our Early Childhood Center, Elementary School, Middle School, and High School that give our students the chance to love learning and achieve academic success to guarantee high standards of excellence.
An integrated core curriculum is used to accomplish real-world applications of subject knowledge, and it is supplemented by electives in foreign languages, music, art, and theater. The school places a lot of emphasis on its interdisciplinary teaching units.
The demanding two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma program covers a broad range of academic subjects and gives our senior students the chance to enroll in a course of study that grants admission to some of the top universities in the world. Pupils are expected to be self-learners, cultivate a solid sense of self, and learn how to interact with people from different cultural and geographic backgrounds.
In addition to offering a demanding academic program, American International School in Egypt offers a wide range of extracurricular clubs, activities, and opportunities. Students will dance, sing, and paint beginning in Early Childhood, gaining an understanding of and respect for the arts.
Age-appropriate instruction and activities continue through middle school and culminate in the IB diploma, which allows students to showcase their skills to a global audience. Through opportunities for physical, mental, and emotional development, the athletic programs give students the tools they need to reinforce critical life skills.
