Cairo American College is another international school in Egypt. Located in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt, it is an international American pre-kindergarten–12 school. It serves other international students as well as dependents of the US embassy in the area. Cairo American College operates as a nonprofit institution.

The "American Education Reaches Out" (AERO) guidelines are adhered to by CAC. The high school offers Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs, which students can choose to participate in or not, depending on their own learning goals. Students can choose to pursue an International Baccalaureate Diploma beginning in the eleventh grade.

The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council of International Schools have granted Cairo American College their accreditation. Cairo American College is a member of the Near East South Asia Council of Overseas Schools (NESA) and the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).

The American model informs the curriculum at Cairo American College. Traditional subject areas are covered by the students, including world languages, reading and writing, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Inquiry-based learning is emphasized in the PreK–12 curriculum, and standards-based grading and reporting are used in the Elementary and Middle Schools.

Through exams, written assignments, oral presentations, projects, demonstrations, and discussions, students show what they have learned. Measures of Academic Progress, or MAP tests, are administered to students in grades 3 through 9. As part of the college application process, high school students take the SAT and ACT.

Students attend school Sunday through Thursday, just as most International Schools in Cairo. Elementary school students follow a five-day rotation and Middle and High School students follow an eight-day rotation of eight blocks, going to four blocks (85 minutes) per day. After school, students are involved in clubs, sports, or after-school activities.

Cairo American College offers a demanding yet encouraging environment for learning. The needs of the students are carefully considered at every stage of the process. Every student will be able to realize their potential with the support of the curriculum, which has been created to offer exceptional educational opportunities.

New CAC '2050' courses are offered by Cairo American College. These cutting-edge courses will lead students through the convergence of technologies in the fields of extended reality, green energy, genome sequencing, decentralized finance/blockchain, and artificial intelligence. This interdisciplinary approach will give students the knowledge and abilities to lead, navigate, and shape a technologically advanced world in addition to offering a glimpse into the future.
