The British International School, Cairo
A private British school located in Beverly Hills is called the British International School, Cairo (BISC). The Ministry of Education has granted permission for it to operate as an independent, fee-paying, nonprofit institution. The school is one of the few in Egypt to have COBIS certification and is subject to routine inspections by BSO.
Boys and girls between the ages of three and eighteen are provided with a broad-based education through BISC, which encourages them to pursue excellence in their extracurricular and athletic endeavors. It offers a structured, demanding academic program in a disciplined, encouraging atmosphere that helps students grow into honorable, responsible adults who can confidently fill their place in a world that is changing quickly.
As the only school in Egypt to receive an excellent rating across the board from a British Schools Overseas program inspection, British International School Cairo is one of the select few schools in the world. The vast BISC campus features amenities for every student, including age-appropriate learning areas, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and a theater.
