Through collaboration with the school community, Dover International School (DIS) aims to offer qualifying students, mostly from the Greater Cairo area, and the Middle East. The school works to give students the best American education possible at every stage of their academic journey, all the while fostering a love of learning, critical thinking skills, and civic responsibility.
Dover International School has created a curriculum for our Elementary School, Middle School, and High School that gives our students the chance to embrace learning and achieve academic success to guarantee high standards of excellence. The kindergarten motto at Dover International School is "Learning through Play." Students in the high program read, comprehend, contrast, and assess a range of narrative, literary, and visual texts. Every year, students write in a range of genres at progressively harder levels. They also learn how to use language appropriately and modify it for every writing assignment so that readers can understand ideas, content, and messages.
Dover International School offers a rigorous academic program and numerous extracurricular activities for students, including peer tutoring, sports, Student Council, and Model United Nations.
